Every year in April since 1970, the global community has been celebrating Earth Day in an attempt to raise awareness about creating a healthier environment for both present and future generations. NP Nutra® recognizes the responsibility it shares in helping to create a more sustainable industry.

Thomas Wolski, NP Nutra’s managing director says, “As part of our commitment to the environment and all living organisms, NP Nutra® opposes the use of genetically engineered products and raw materials that are contaminated with pesticide residues and heavy metals.”

Organic farming has many benefits such as promoting sustainability and preserving original plant species and natural bio-diversity. David Suzuki, Scientist and Environmentalist, comments, “Far from being a quaint throwback to an earlier time, organic agriculture is proving to be a serious contender in modern farming and a more environmentally sustainable system over the long term.”

NP Nutra® carefully selects farmers who have been using organic practices for many years. Thomas Wolski remarks, “The majority of NP Nutra’s farmers are certified organic or are in the process of applying for certification, and only use seeds that have not been contaminated by genetic engineering.”

NP Nutra® is also actively engaged in agricultural projects that help local communities in poor growing areas make a living using their natural resources in a sustainable manner.
