ALGAE

Algae is a rich source of minerals (including trace minerals), antioxidants, amino acids, prebiotic fiber, fatty acids and vitamins, and some algae have gelling, thickening and stabilizing properties. Apart from being nutrient-dense, most algae have an earthy, seaweed flavor, adding an oceanic delicacy to broths, soups, sauces, condiments and snacks.
