NP Nutra^®, a global manufacturer of nutraceutical ingredients, celebrates Earth Day – April 22 – with the launch of their certified organic, Nutra Organics range.

For over 40 years, Earth Day has inspired and motivated individuals and organizations worldwide to show their commitment to the protection and sustainability of planet Earth’s unique environment. Nationally, Earth Day 2011 will be organized around a Billion Acts of Green and NP Nutra’s contribution towards this initiative underlines the company’s commitment towards a sustainable future for all of Earth’s residents.

NP Nutra's commitment to the environment has led them to oppose the use of genetically engineered products and raw materials that are contaminated with pesticide residues, heavy metals and/or other contaminants. Further, NP Nutra^® actively embraces and promotes organic farming practices. Organic farming has many benefits such as promoting sustainability and preserving original plant species and natural bio-diversity.

NP Nutra’s extensive Nutra Organics range of certified organic ingredients includes in demand products like Acai, Acerola, Alfalfa, Barley Grass, Wheatgrass, Chlorella and Spirulina as well as emerging ingredients like Maqui and Sacha Inchi. NP Nutra’s plan is to continually add new ingredients to the Nutra Organics range with many other ingredients in the process of organic certification.

The Nutra Organics range has evolved through years of research, and partnership initiatives with farmers. NP Nutra^® carefully selects and works with farmers who have been farming using organic practices for many years. NP Nutra’s farmers only use seeds that have not been contaminated by any form of genetic engineering. By law all certified organic ingredients cannot contain any genetically modified organisms and are therefore automatically non-GMO.
