Cat’s claw (Uncaria tomentosa) is a woody climbing vine known for its cat’s claw-shaped thorns. Native to the Amazon rainforest, this vine can grow up to 100ft long and is found mostly in tropical rainforests. Used by the indigenous peoples of South America for centuries, cat’s claw dates back more than 2000 years to the Incan civilization.
