Rhodiola rosea, also known as arctic root and golden root, is a flowering herb that grows in the cold, mountainous regions of Asia and Europe where it has been traditionally used for its many health benefits. Its roots are purported to be adaptogens, helping the body to resist physical, environmental, and emotional stressors.
