Meeting soaring demand, natural ingredients manufacturer NP Nutra^® has received new Kosher certification from Earth Kosher for an inventory of more than 200 ingredients. A 2009 Canadian study set the booming worldwide market for kosher and halal foods at more than $2 trillion per annum, while a 2009 Mintel study showed “Kosher” to be the leading claim on new products, exceeding claims like “Natural”, “Organic”, and “Fair Trade”. Market analysis shows that uptake of Kosher products among the general population is skyrocketing because Kosher certification is equated with quality control.
