We are writing this press release in an attempt to warn other companies in the nutraceuticals industry about fraudulent activity committed by GCI India also known as Optimal Nutrients India. They can be found on the web at http://www.gciindia.net and the key persons involved have been Wikram Sanadi and Dr Bhushan Karnik.

NP Nutra® placed an order for 1525 kg Pomegranate Juice Powder in January of 2009. Full payment was sent in February of 2009 after Optimal Nutrients India sent a Bill of Lading to NP Nutra®.

Later on, NP Nutra® discovered that this Bill of Lading was fake and that no product was ever dispatched. Despite countless communications and attempts to either receive the missing product or receive a refund, GCI India was completely non-cooperative and would usually not even respond to any communications or attempts to resolve this dispute. To this day GCI India/Optimal Nutrients India still say that the product was initially misplaced, but later on located. However, to this day, the product was never shipped nor has a refund been issued.

NP Nutra® also contacted GCI Nutrients in Foster City, California. GCI Nutrients USA is in no way responsible for any of these actions and regrets how the individuals in India have misrepresented their company name.

Contact NP Nutra® for more information.
